Mrs. Kathy Keeley, Assistant to the Executive Director
Introducing Rev. Randy Keeley...
Growing up in a pastor’s home, the church has always played an important part in Randy’s life. He came to Christ at the age of five through a children’s ministry at his church. Throughout his teen years he continued to grow and sense God’s call to ministry. He graduated from Lancaster Bible College and Western Seminary. He is pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree at Talbot School of Theology.
Randy began his ministry in the local church over thirty years ago. He was ordained in 1983 by the West Oneonta Baptist Church in West Oneonta, NY. His pastorates have been in the Northeast and in Washington State. Randy’s passion has been to help churches and leaders grow in the understanding of their God-given mission. His desire is to help pastors and churches to be faithful to God’s Word and fruitful as they proclaim it in this changing world. Randy’s wife Kathy continues to play a key role in his ministry. She works as Randy’s Administrative Assistant in CB Mission Northeast’s office.
Randy & Kathy, married for over 30 years, have three children. Kevin recently graduated from Bryan College in Dayton, TN. He is working as a resident director at Howard Payne University. Kevin and his wife Kara live in Brownwood, TX. Kimberly and her husband Jeremiah Callihan live in Colorado Springs, CO. Jeremiah is the Executive Director of Administration at AXiS, an organization dedicated to impacting young adults through interactive sessions on worldviews and pressing issues. Kim is a Registered Nurse. Kim & Jeremiah have two boys, Nehemiah & Elijah. Melissa, and her husband Jeff Baumes, live in Albany, NY where Jeff recently completed his Ph.D. at RPI. Melissa is a Certified Social Worker and has worked with sexually abused children. Missy & Jeff also have two boys, Andrew & Ryan.
Randy began working with CBMNE in the area of Church and Pastoral Health as a volunteer in 1999. Randy also began working in the area of Church Assessments in the Fall of 1999 utilizing his training with Natural Church Development. Through this diagnostic tool churches assess their strengths and discover where ministry dysfunction is hindering fruitfulness. Through the application of biblical principles the church focuses on what God wants to accomplish through them in their own unique harvest field. Helpful resources are provided to foster growth in these areas. In October 2001, Randy left his pastorate to join CBMNE as the Director of Church Health. To supplement his income while attempting to raise funds for this position, he also served as the Business Administrator/Treasurer of CBMNE. Randy was appointed Interim Executive Director of CBMNE in July 2004 and served in that capacity until his appointment as Executive Director by the board on May 16, 2005.
